Presents the data warehouse model in contrast to existing operational transaction systems. Analyzes business reporting needs, creates models for data warehouses based on the reporting needs, and uses SQL to create and populate tables based on dimensional models. Requires working in teams to complete and present the first planning and analysis phases of a project for a client. Should be taken in the end of the junior year or first semester of the senior year.
