    State Authorization Reciprocity Agreement (SARA)

    Utah is a member of the State Authorization Reciprocity Agreement (SARA) and Utah Valley University has been approved to participate in the National Council for State Authorization Reciprocity Agreements.

    Federal Aviation Administration (Air Agency Certificate)

    The Professional Pilot Program within the School of Aviation Sciences adheres to specific guidance under Part 141 of the Federal Aviation Regulations (FARs) which provides for enhanced training quality with reduced time requirements. The program receives annual reviews by the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA).

    The Air Agency Certificate issued by the FAA authorizes the School of Aviation Sciences to train students for Private, Instrument, Commercial, and Multi-Engine Ratings.

    Association of Advance Collegiate Schools of Business

    The Woodbury School of Business at Utah Valley University is accredited by the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB). Initial accreditation was earned in 2007. The next on-site continuous improvement review (5 year cycle) to occur in 2021-2022. AACSB is the premier accrediting body for business schools.

    The program in dental hygiene is accredited by the Commission on Dental Accreditation and has been granted the accreditation status of "approval without reporting requirements". The Commission is a specialized accrediting body recognized by the United States Department of Education.
