Military Science, Minor

Requirements

The ROTC program at UVU trains and prepares cadets to commission and become officers in theUnited States Army. Classes taught in the program include Army history and structure, small unittactics and movement techniques, leadership and management techniques and strategies, andphysical fitness. The program is designed to be complementary to a school environment, with theemphasis placed on school completion and graduation. Upon completion of their college degree,cadets will also commission as second lieutenants in the United States Army, becoming juniorleaders in their respective organizations.
