Application checklist:

  1. Application: All application materials must be submitted by the program application deadline for full consideration. Programs may fill before the posted application deadline, so apply as early as possible. There is a $75 non-refundable application fee.
  2. Acceptance:Within a few weeks of the application deadline, you will receive an official notification of acceptance from the Office of Education Abroad that outlines the next steps regarding payments, course registration, safety and culture orientation, additional forms, etc. Your faculty program director might be in touch with you earlier than the application deadline, but they will definitely be in contact with you after your official acceptance to discuss program and travel arrangements.
  3. Payment of deposit: Within 5 days of acceptance into a Study Abroad program, you will be required to pay a $500 non-refundable commitment deposit to confirm your spot. See the Refunds and Cancellation policy.
  4. Program fees: Summer Study Abroad program fees will be charged to student UVU accounts in mid-March and are due in full within a week unless the student enrolls in a study abroad payment plan to extend payments until the end of the Spring semester.  (The New Zealand Study Abroad program fees will be charged to student UVU accounts in mid October.)

Admission into a UVU Study Abroad program is non-discriminatory. UVU admits persons without regard to gender, race, creed, religion, national origin, age, or disability who meet UVU's academic requirements, agree to abide by the Student Rights and Responsibility Code of Conduct, and are otherwise qualified.

Contact the Office of Education Abroad in LA 111 or at [email protected] for accommodation services.
