Application checklist:

  1. Application: All application materials must be submitted by the program application deadline for full consideration. Programs may fill before the posted application deadline, so apply as early as possible. Submit your application here. There is a $75 non-refundable application fee.

Note: All non-UVU applicants must first be admitted to UVU before they can apply for a UVU Study Abroad program (see information for Non-UVU Students).

  2. Acceptance: Within a few weeks of the application deadline, you will receive an official notification of acceptance from the Office of Education Abroad that outlines the next steps regarding payments, course registration, safety and culture orientation, additional forms, etc. Your faculty program director might be in touch with you earlier than the application deadline, but they will definitely be in contact with you after your official acceptance to discuss program and travel arrangements.
  3. Payment of deposit: Once accepted into a Study Abroad program, you will be required to pay a non-refundable commitment deposit (generally $300 — $500) to confirm your spot. See the  cancellation policy.
  4. Program fees: Program fees will be charged to student UVU accounts. The balance of the program fee will be due 3 weeks before the program begins.

Admission into a UVU Study Abroad program is non-discriminatory. UVU admits persons without regard to gender, race, creed, religion, national origin, age, or disability who meet UVU's academic requirements, agree to abide by the Student Rights and Responsibility Code of Conduct, and are otherwise qualified.

Contact the Office of Education Abroad in LA 111 or at studyabroad@uvu.edu for accommodation services.
