From business and computer science to engineering and the sciences, UVU’s Academic Tutoring helps you tackle over 549 courses. Meet certified peer tutors for drop-in or scheduled sessions—online or in person—to sharpen study skills, collaborate in groups, and grow your confidence across any subject.
Need a boost in math? The UVU Math Lab offers free, one-on-one tutoring to help you build problem-solving skills, strengthen your reasoning, and gain confidence that lasts beyond the classroom. Our CRLA-certified tutors are ready to meet you in person or online, seven days a week, guiding you from first question to final exam success.
Supplemental Instruction (SI) offers free, peer-led study sessions for select courses—especially General Education classes. Led by trained SI Leaders who have previously succeeded in the course, these sessions help you review content, strengthen understanding, and connect with classmates. With multiple sessions each week and support both in class and through Canvas, SI gives you the tools and strategies to succeed beyond the lecture.
UVU Testing Services offers flexible, secure testing for students, faculty, and community members. We provide placement exams, accommodated testing, proctored make-up exams, and certification or licensure testing. You can also earn credit for prior learning. Appointments ensure you get reliable testing support whenever you need it.
