International Fire Service Accreditation Congress

The Emergency Services programs at Utah Valley University are accredited by the International Fire Service Accreditation Congress (IFSAC). The initial accreditation was granted in 2004. An IFSAC accredited program indicates that course offerings, institutional support, and qualified faculty are working together in completing their educational mission.

UVU ES stackable certificates allow you to achieve credentials and certifications incrementally on your way toward a degree. Graduate with certificates in EMT and AEMT,  then choose an emphasis in emergency management, emergency medical, or fire. After completing the physical, hands-on requirements, finish your degree online while you start your career.
