Dr. Ahmend Alsharif is an Assistant Professor in the Technology Management Department. He has a Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Mechanical Engineering, a Master of Business Administration (MBA) and received his Master of Science (M.S.) and Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Engineering Management as well as Graduate Certificates in Project Management and Financial Engineering from Missouri University of Science and Technology. His research interest are in the areas of Operations Research, Operations Management and Quality Management.

Dr. Arendt is an associate professor in Technology Management. She has a Bachelor of Arts (BA) in English, a Master’s in Business Administration (MBA) from the University of Minnesota Carlson School of Management, a Master of Science (MS) in Educational Change and Technology Innovation from Walden University, and a Doctorate of Education (Ed.D) with an emphasis in higher education from Utah State University. She also currently has Six Sigma Black Belt Certification through the American Society of Quality (ASQ) and has had Project Management Professional (PMP) certification through the Project Management Institute.

Dr. Alin is an assistant professor in Technology Management. He has a Master of Social Sciences degree in communication from the University of Helsinki, Finland, and a Doctor of Science in Technology (DSc Tech) degree from Aalto University, Finland. His teaching and research focus areas are the use of information and communication technology in technical teams. He has published his research in Project Management Journal, Journal of Management in Engineering and European Journal of Innovation Management, among others.

Dr. Ilikchyan is an Assistant Professor in Technology Management at Utah Valley University. He has a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from St. Petersburg State Institute of Technology in Russia, Master of Industrial Technologies from Bowling Green State University, and a PhD degree in Technology Management from Indiana State University with emphasis in Quality Systems. He is interested in Creative Problem Solving, Data Quality Management, Open-Source Culture, and Technology Trends.

Kyle is a Professional in Residence in Technology Management and serves as Director of the Master of Science in Engineering and Technology Management (MS-ETM) program. He brings twenty-seven years of experience in engineering program management, research and development, product development, and manufacturing, including eighteen years as engineering manager in inkjet printer development at HP Inc. Kyle holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Statistics / Quality Control and a Master of Science in Statistics, both from Brigham Young University. Prior to his management roles, he worked as Senior R&D Engineer, Inkjet R&D Engineer, Statistician, and Quality Assurance Engineer.

Dr. Thackeray has over twenty years of demonstrated administrative leadership in industry and education that includes international and domestic higher education instructional design, distance learning development, usability testing, workforce development, and team organization/training. She has received multiple awards for innovation excellence and currently serves on a National Science Foundation (NSF) review panel. Dr. Thackeray holds a Bachelor of Science in digital media, a master’s degree from Utah State University, a doctorate from Northeastern University, Boston, and a fellowship from Stanford University. Her research interests are underserved populations in science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM).
