Prospective Students

Utah Valley University is an open-admissions university dedicated to breaking down barriers to education and uplifting underrepresented groups. UVU is home to the largest number of Latino students at a four-year university in Utah and has a thriving Latino student community of over 5,000 students.

UVU has programs, advising, and services in place to assist you throughout your time in college, from application to graduation. The Latino Initiative is here to support you along the way.

Apply to UVU

UVU is an open admissions school, which means that all students with a high school diploma, GED, or other equivalent are accepted. We emphasize small class sizes and hands-on learning to give you an individualized college experience.

The road to college isn’t always predictable. No matter your background, residency status, or previous educational experience, you are welcome and valued at UVU.

Advising

The Latino Initiative has coordinators ready to support you as you navigate higher education. Schedule an appointment with us today to meet with one of coordinators with diverse, unique perspectives, and experiences.
