Welcome back, Wolverines! As we begin another semester, our campus has likely changed since the last time you were here. Here are a few pieces of information to help you navigate.

 

Maps

The UVU Maps website has up-to-date information on construction closures and pedestrian detours, and it includes building labels, dining locations, parking lot numbers, and more.

Please note that the concourse between the Woodbury School of Business and the Browning Administration building will be open for the new semester.

Parking and transportation

UTA public transit is free to anyone with a UVU ID. Masks are required on UTA transportation, including Utah Valley Express (UVX). UVX riders will walk behind the Keller Building to enter the Woodbury School of Business and access the rest of campus from there.

The pedestrian bridge over I-15 is open, and scooters are available to help speed up the trip.  Scooters turn off at the east side of the track to keep campus safer.

Parking lots L9 and L10 will have some reduced spots due to the Young Family Living Alumni Center project. Permits are required for all parking lots. Pay-by-plate zones are enforced.

Due to construction, all eateries in the Sorensen Student Center will be closed during the fall 2021 semester. The following locations will be open starting August 23.

CupBop will be relocated to the Fulton Library in the back of Mom Fulton's Cafe starting August 30. Food trucks will be provided Monday – Friday from 11 a.m. – 2 p.m. in front of the Fulton Library.

Sorensen Student Center

Due to construction in the Sorensen Student Center (SC), some student services have moved locations or have different operating hours or procedures.

Campus Connection has returned to its normal location on the first floor of the SC. The UVU Post Office has been relocated to the second floor of the Sorensen Center, SC 214. These two services will be open Monday – Thursday from 8 a.m. – 8 p.m., Friday from 8 a.m. – 5 p.m., and Saturday from 9 a.m. – 2 p.m. Online and phone services are available during regular hours.

New procedures are now in place to obtain a UVU ID card. Photos should be submitted digitally in advance, rather than being taken in person at Campus Connection. For more information, please visit uvu.edu/campusconnection/id-cards/index.html.

The UVU Campus Store will be open Monday – Thursday from 7:30 a.m. – 6 p.m. and Friday from 7:30 a.m. – 5 p.m.

Scoops will not be open in the Sorensen Center, but the Clarke Building location will be open Monday– Thursday from 7:30 a.m. – 5 p.m. and Friday from 7:30 a.m. – 4 p.m.
