Does UVU Have On-Campus Housing?

UVU does not have on-campus student housing. Instead, we focus on building relationships with off-campus housing complexes that provide a meaningful college experience. Many student housing options near UVU’s Orem Campus make it simple and quick to get to class and attend events. Our Student Housing Map can help you find an apartment or home where you want to live.

Student-focused housing complexes often have community leaders to support and engage with students off campus. UVU has partnered with several complexes near campus to help students feel connected to campus through social events and guidance. These community leaders help new Wolverines understand campus life and find the resources they need to thrive.

If you live farther from UVU, you can still get to campus easily. Your UVID card doubles as a free UTA pass, so you can use TRAX, FrontRunner, UVX, and UTA buses to get to and from class. Learn more about transit options on the Campus Connection website.

How To Find Student Housing Near UVU

  • Consider the Amenities and Experience You Want

Every Wolverine needs something different from where they live. Think about what you need from your housing and what you can afford, and make a list of your priorities based on your budget. Some things to consider are whether you would prefer a private or shared bedroom, how close to campus you need to be based on transit, and amenities you need, like in-unit laundry or covered parking.

The social life and experience you want might also influence your decision. You may want to live in a housing complex with a strong community that hosts events and activities. Incoming freshmen may consider the Freshman Housing Experience, a structured program that offers support for new students as they transition to college life.
