UVU's Religious Studies Program advances an interdisciplinary approach to the academic
study of religion. We offer classes in the history, philosophy, literature, folklore,
etc. of various religions in an effort to study the impact of religion on the human
experience. Our program is designed to explore religious beliefs and practices in
a spirit of open inquiry, and to create an environment in which challenging questions
can be engaged from a variety of perspectives and methodologies.
We currently offer a Religious Studies Minor and an Integrated Studies major in addition to a variety of conferences, workshops, and research projects. For more information, please contact Brian Birch at [email protected].
