Prerequisite(s): Departmental chair approval and University Advanced Standing
 

We are looking for students who are interested in learning more about the academic process regarding conferences, publication, and ancient scholarship. This is a great opportunity to work more with professionals in our department and global scholars who are at the top of their fields.   

We will be hosting an info session for interested students on October 1 in CB 104 from 10:00-11:00 (Snacks provided).

PHIL 4000R.  Great Philosophers.  (3 Credits)  
Prerequisite(s): (PHIL 1000, PHIL 1000H, PHIL 2050, PHIL 2050H, PHIL 2050G, PHIL 2110 or PHIL 2150 or instructor approval) and UAS
Provides an in-depth look at a great figure in Philosophy across the topics of metaphysics, epistemology, ethics, social and political philosophy, aesthetics, and other themes. Addresses the contribution of the Herculaneum Papyri to the history of Philosophy. Repeatable up to 12 credit hours with different topics.
