2019 CET Annual Report

In 2019, once again, the College of Engineering and Technology saw growth in the number of graduates and saw students participating in regional and national competitions and receiving numerous honors. The year also brought three new engineering programs in civil, mechanical, and electrical disciplines to UVU to meet the growing demands for more engineers in the Utah Valley area.

NSF Funded Nano-Technology Classes Taking Shape Quickly

Utah Valley University students will soon be able to take advantage of a brand new Nano-Technology class thanks to the seven hundred thousand dollar grant received from the National Science Foundation.

i-ETC Conference

The first Intermountain Engineering, Technology and Computing (i-ETC) conference will be at UVU (May 4-5, 2020). The i-ETC 2020 conference is supported by UVU, BYU, U of U, USU, IEEE, and a number of Utah’s tech Industries along the Silicon Slopes. Students and Faculty members are invited to submit a paper, publish in IEEE and join other scholars in evolving the knowledge and ideas of the future.
