The Army Reserve Officers’ Training Corps (ROTC) at Utah Valley University allows students to develop and prepare as leaders through a combination of academic instruction, hands-on leadership experiences, and physical fitness. ROTC is designed to develop confident and capable leaders of character. Cadets can expect to learn skills such as resilience, decision-making, communication, teamwork, tactics, ethics, and fitness habits. Students can participate during their first two years with no military obligation, making ROTC an excellent option for those exploring leadership and service.
After receiving their degree and completion of the UVU Army ROTC program, cadets commission as a 2nd Lieutenants in the U.S. Army, Army Reserve, or Army National Guard.
