Army ROTC Scholarships

ROTC offers competitive scholarships that can cover:

  • Full tuition and fees or room and board
  • $1,200 per year for books
  • 2-, 3-, and 4-year scholarship options

You can start ROTC with no obligation and apply for scholarships as you progress in the program.

Financial Information

Monthly Stipend

Once you contract with ROTC (typically in your junior year or when you accept a scholarship), you will receive $420 per month during the school year in addition to any scholarship benefits.

Guaranteed Reserve Forces Duty (GRFD) Scholarship 

Cadets commissioning into the Army National Guard or Army Reserve may qualify for additional benefits, including:

  • Tuition or room and board coverage
  • ROTC monthly stipend and book allowance
  • Additional military education benefits through service

This scholarship requires participation in Simultaneous Membership Program (SMP).
