Submission Process: The Journal of Student Leadership (JSL)

FOLLOW THESE 3 MAIN STEPS TO SUBMIT YOUR WORK TO THE JSL:

Step 1: Carefully review and follow the Submission Guidelines for Authors and Artists before continuing.

Step 2: Complete the JSL Required Submission Form below. Be sure to click the "Submit" button when you are finished.

Step 3: Email your essay in Microsoft Word format (.docx) or your artwork file to JOSL@uvu.edu. Note: Please do not include your name on your actual essay attachment or in the properties of the Word document itself because we will be sharing it for blind review. Including your name or a message in the body of the email itself is perfectly fine.

*If your work is accepted for publication, you will be expected to sign a journal copyright form.

If your submission is to be accepted, are you willing to work closely with JSL editorial staff and advisors and a university writing center over the next few months on revisions to your submission?
