UVUSA Structure

UVU’s student government is set up to serve you. We are organized into three branches and an executive council who all work together to meet our student body’s different needs and specialize in unique aspects of the student experience. Every Wolverine is always at the center of what we do.

Executive Council

UVU Campus
The Executive Council is led by the Student Body President and includes the Vice Presidents of Connection, Activities, and Academics. We discuss big ideas and high-level needs that UVU students have and collaborate to figure out how to meet our goals.

Connection Branch

UVU Campus
Led by the Vice President of Connection. We elevate the student experience by building students’ sense of belonging and connection to UVU through campus and community partnerships. The Connection Branch focuses on student engagement at all levels of the university and connects students to campus services and resources.

Activities Branch

UVU Campus
The Activities Branch is led by the Vice President of Student Activities. We organize large-scale campus events, entertainment, and activities to engage with UVU students outside of the classroom. The Activities Branch is dedicated to creating spaces where students can create lasting memories and feel a sense of community and pride.

Senate Branch

UVU Campus
Led by the Vice President of Academics and student senators who represent each college and school. The Senate works with department representatives, chairs, and deans to coordinate events and forums encouraging academics outside of the classroom. Senators advocate for students’ academic needs at the department and college level.
