Vice President of Student Activities

The Vice President of Student Activities plans and executes a year’s worth of UVUSA events that attract all the diverse demographics at UVU and set the tone for UVU school spirit.

• Oversees and assists all Activities Chairs.
• Works closely with chairs to ensure the recruitment and retention of committee members.
• Attends and represents the student body at assigned campus committees including the Homecoming Committee, etc.

The VP of Student Activities receives a full in-state tuition scholarship and hourly pay as a part-time employee of the university.

Assistant to the Vice President of Student Activities

• Provides administrative support to the Vice President of Student Activities and fulfills duties as assigned.
• Plans and participates in volunteer recognition and morale initiatives.
• Works with the Executive Assistant to report historical information for UVUSA records and documentation as assigned.

The Assistant to the VP of Student Activities receives a half in-state tuition scholarship.

Activities Chairs

• Plan, actively publicize, and coordinate events for various student demographics.
• Provide a variety of kinds of events including but not limited to traditional, entertainment, social arts, and family events.
• Recruit and retain a committee of student volunteers.
• Gain feedback from the student body and utilize it in event planning.
• Execute events that serve all the demographics of UVU, including students in domestic relationships, students with children, and students over 25.

Activities Chairs receive full in-state tuition scholarships.
