The UVUSA Wolverine Achievement Awards are awards given to students, faculty, staff, alumni and administrators in recognition of outstanding contributions to campus and community. The award winners are recognized by their peers to be outstanding in their educational and professional pursuits.
Each spring, UVUSA will seek nominations for fifteen different awards. Three finalists will be chosen and one winner will be named and recognized at the annual Wolverine Achievement Awards show in April. An award and cash prize will be given to the winner.
Achievement of the Year
This award is presented to the student, faculty member, or staff person who has excelled academically or professionally as well as displayed an outstanding ability in a specific area of accomplishment.
Adjunct (Part-Time) Faculty of the Year
This award is presented to the adjunct faculty member who has demonstrated academic excellence, exceptional teaching style, and dedication to students in and out of the classroom. The recipient of this award has profoundly enhanced the learning environment at UVU.
Advisor of the Year
This award is presented to the campus advisor (club, academic, department, etc.) who has shown dedication, a willingness to go beyond their responsibilities, and helped in the advancement of students’ academic engagement and progress at UVU.
Club of the Year
This award is presented to the UVU Club that has most significantly influenced the positive growth of its individual members, the campus, and the surrounding community. This club is actively involved in representing UVU.
Commitment to Excellence
This award is presented to an institutional administrator who has demonstrated a willingness to perform beyond conventional expectations to heighten the quality of the UVU student experience.

Distinguished Volunteer Service
This award is presented to the student, faculty member, or staff person who has demonstrated a commitment to service throughout the campus and community.
Faculty (Full-Time) of the Year
This award is presented to the full-time faculty member who has demonstrated academic excellence, exceptional teaching style, and dedication to students in and out of the classroom. The recipient of this award has profoundly enhanced the learning environment at UVU.
Friend of UVU
This award is presented to a community member who has been a significant advocate on the side of UVU, and who has led others in support of the institution.
Lifetime Achievement
This award is presented to the faculty, staff, or administrator who has excelled academically or professionally as well as displayed outstanding leadership ability during their career at UVU. This award is not awarded every year.
Staff Excellence
This award is presented to the university staff member who has demonstrated a willingness to perform beyond conventional expectations to heighten the quality of UVU student life.
Student of the Year
Proud Wolverine
This award is presented to the student whose unique personal style demonstrates enthusiasm and Wolverine pride, which has made a positive and lasting impression on UVU.
