Mission

Accessibility Services promotes access to the university experience by removing barriers to ensure all students have the opportunity to fully participate in their education.

 

Our mission is accomplished through an interactive process where students will:   

Acquire Knowledge

Acquire knowledge of accommodations & services that provide access and lead to increased retention and course completion.

Follow Through

Understand and completely follow through with steps required for receiving accommodations (accessible technology, note-taking, interpreters, etc.).

Communicate Effectively

Communicate effectively and interact with faculty, staff, and other support services in order to advocate for themselves as a student with a disability.

UVU has accessible restrooms, entrances, elevators, and other amenities available across campus. You can find a view of all of these facilities on UVU Maps.

  1. Go to the UVU Maps website and click on the campus map you want to view.
  2. Locate the Accessibilities filter in the list on the left.
  3. Click the checkbox to view all accessibility facilities across campus.
  4. To view facilities available in a specific building, click the arrow to view a full list of buildings on campus. Check the box for the buildings you want to find amenities in.
