About Us

Mission

Accessibility Services (AS) serves Utah Valley University students and the community by providing access to the campus and curriculum for individuals with disabilities to facilitate, support, and encourage their academic success and retention, and ensure their educational rights.

Our mission is accomplished through an interactive process where students will:

Acquire Knowledge

Acquire knowledge of accommodations & services that provide access and lead to increased retention and course completion.

Follow Through

Understand and completely follow through with steps required for receiving accommodations (accessible technology, note-taking, interpreters, etc.).

Communicate Effectively

Communicate effectively and interact with faculty, staff, and other support services in order to advocate for themselves as a student with a disability.
