The First-Year Advising Center (FAC) is designed to help incoming students with all aspects of a successful transition into the university community. At UVU, each student is assigned an academic advisor through the admissions process. You don’t have to figure out college by yourself! Throughout your first-year, your advisor will help you lay the foundations of a coherent educational plan that addresses your unique abilities, aspirations, interests, and values. We help you go beyond knowing what you need to do to understanding why the choices you make are right for you. Remember, your first-year academic advisor is dedicated to supporting you and will act as your advocate throughout your first-year. Schedule an appointment with the First-Year Advising Center |
