The UVU School of Aviation Sciences promotes safety in all aspects of our flight training and academic programs. Reporting is a key element to discovering and addressing potential safety concerns. CFI's, faculty, staff, and students are encouraged to submit safety reports through AIMS, which is accessible on the iPads located in the Hangar B lobby.
Safety reports can be submitted anonymously, if desired. If contact info is provided, it allows our safety coordinator to gather more details regarding the issue and allow it to be better addressed. In addition to the AIMS system, safety reports can also be submitted off-site using our Alternative Safety Report.
The UVU Aviation program is a VA-approved flight school where you can earn your flight hours. You may be eligible for flight benefits through one of the UVU Military-Affiliated Student Hub benefit options.
Note for online students: UVU financial aid and VA benefits do not cover training completed at outside flight schools.

Throughout your time in higher education, you may face a variety of challenges, obstacles, and pressures that make it difficult to navigate your daily life, let alone reach your academic goals. If you are struggling with your mental health, know that you do not have to navigate these challenges alone.
