Livescan Fingerprinting Instructions:

*Before you can apply to the elementary, secondary or special education program, you must complete the fingerprint process*

See your advisor if you have any questions.  

1. Go to the  Utah Schools Information Management System (USIMS)(External Web Content)
2. Create an account and follow prompts.

   *When prompted, select yes to the item labeled “Utah Teacher Preparation Program” and select Utah Valley University. Make sure you hit “save” before navigating away from this page.*

3. View the Fingerprint Directions provided. (Please read instructions)
4. Print Fingerprint Instructions from USIMS and bring to your fingerprinting appointment (the LiveScan location will need the information in this document)
