School experiences
Visit and interact with students in schools on Tongatapu and Ha’apai island. All teaching is in English.
Accommodations
Main island housing is in dorms, 4-6 to an apartment.
Physical Requirements
Significant daily walking to and from schools and cultural and historical sites.*
Tentative Agenda
Spend 5-8 days visiting and working in schools. Other days will be flexible with sightseeing
and other activities. Planned activities include Captain Cook’s landing place, the
Tongan trilithon, the blowholes, sightseeing.
Additional Info
During Fall 2020, Tonga was also a destination for student teaching.
