Online Orientation is required for all new UVU students and will provide you with the information, resources, tips and tools you need to make a successful transition to UVU.
Before you can register for classes, you must complete online orientation. You will need to be fully admitted and have a UVID and account password already created.
Log into myUVU using your UVID and password.
Once on your myUVU dashboard, scroll to the “My Task Checklist” card. Select “View All Tasks” to view the full list of tasks you need to complete.
Select “Complete Online Orientation” from the task list to begin. Give yourself 60-90 minutes to complete Online Orientation. Don’t worry if you can’t do it all in one sitting — your progress will be saved.
Once you complete your Online Orientation, you will be prompted to sign up for an
on-campus Jumpstart Orientation. Jumpstart is
required for first-year students and recommended for transfer students .
All students must complete Online Orientation to remove the orientation hold. First-year students (transferring less than 15 post high-school credits) must also complete Jumpstart Orientation to have this hold removed. Students transferring 15 credits or more to UVU, not including concurrent enrollment, will have their orientation hold immediately.
If your hold has not been completed after completing Online Orientation, please contact us.
