Jumpstart For Transfer Students

Transfer students come with a wide range of experiences and expectations coming into a new university. We offer Jumpstart sessions specifically for transfer students, recognizing the unique perspectives and experiences you bring. Jumpstart Orientation is your first step to feeling at home at UVU. It’s a great opportunity to build connections, get familiar with campus, and learn how to make the most of your UVU experience.

How to Sign up for Jumpstart Orientation

To register, click the link below to visit your New Student Hub. At the top of the page, you’ll find the Jumpstart registration link. When prompted to log in, be sure to select “Are you a student? Log in here.”
If the scheduled sessions don't work for you, please reach out to [email protected]. You’re also welcome to attend any of our Traditional Jumpstart Orientation events.

Removing Jumpstart Orientation Hold

Jumpstart Orientation is only required for students transferring less than 15 post high school credits and younger than 21 years of age.

If you do not meet the Jumpstart Hold requirements, please contact your Transfer Student Support Coordinator or the Orientation Office, and we will remove your hold.
