GEAR UP Day is a statewide event where GEAR UP Utah students, parents, and advisors gather for a day of motivation and helpful information to help students succeed in their higher education and professional pursuits.

Discussion topics include financial aid, college fit, career options, time management, and more.

About the Event

Come prepared to learn and be inspired. This years theme is centered around the G.O.A.T. (Greatest Of All Time). It wil be a day full of fun, classes, and activities all of which will help motivate and guide students along the path to higher education. 

  • Transportation to and from the event will be provided by GEAR UP
  • Breakfast and Lunch included
  • 4 breakout sessions led by Paradigm Shift
  • Career exploration led by departments of UVU 
  • Students, parents and GEAR UP staff are all invited to attend
