Halloween potluck lunch

This Friday (October 29) is our Halloween potluck lunch at noon in the BA 205 reception area. Bring a fun snack to share or just come to hang out and enjoy the treats. Costumes welcome!

Bonus Campus Closure Day for Thanksgiving

UVU will be closing campus on Wednesday, November 24, in addition to the regular staff holidays on November 25-26 (Thursday and Friday). TIMS will recognize the campus closure dates as paid leave for full-time employees. Part-time staff may work additional hours prior to the campus closure to make up for missed work time with supervisor approval.

Custodial Cleaning Update

Facilities is suffering from the same staffing shortage that many employers are experiencing right now. Because of this, we may have trouble maintaining the high standard of cleaning that we have historically provided. There are likely to be delays in the normal cleaning of offices and office complexes beyond the new cleaning standards that went into place last year; this may include delays in gathering recycling from office spaces. We will focus on cleaning open, public, areas as we try to keep UVU a warm and inviting place for students and visitors and we appreciate your understanding as we work through these staffing issues.

The Sorensen Student Center is undergoing the first phase of its rebuild. The food court, UVU Campus Store, UVU Utah Community Credit Union, and Center for Social Impact will remain open during construction. See UVU's Pardon Our Dust site or the map of construction around the SC building.
