The African Diaspora Initiative supports Black academics and scholarship with the African Diaspora Initiative Scholarship. The scholarship is available to students involved with ADI who are currently taking 6 credits with a minimum 2.0 cumulative GPA. Preference will be given to students involved with the Black Student Union.

Requirements

• GPA must be greater than or equal to 2.0
• Must be enrolled in a minimum of 6 credits 
• Must be involved with the African Diaspora Initiative
• Preference given to students involved with the Black Student Union Club at UVU
• Must be working towards first bachelor’s degree
• Must be a US citizen, eligible non-citizen, lawfully present in the US, or a graduate of a Utah high school  
• Cannot have received more than 10 semesters of scholarships
