The UVU School of Education launched its strategic planning process in June 2025 and will conclude in October 2025 (see The Strategic Planning Process Timeline below). This collaborative effort aligns with UVU’s Vision 2030 and brings together students, faculty, staff, alumni, and community partners to shape our direction for the future.
Each focus reflects our commitment to our School of Education’s vision, mission, and seven core values, including innovative teaching and learning, inclusive excellence, and impactful partnerships with government, academia, and industry.
Through surveys, in-depth interviews, listening sessions, and focus groups, we are gathering insights to ensure the plan reflects the many voices of our community. The final plan provides a shared roadmap, adaptable to shifts in education, leadership, and technology through 2030 and beyond.
At the UVU School of Education, we believe the best ideas come when we work together. Through our strategic planning process, we are uniting the diverse voices of our students, faculty, staff, alumni, and community partners to envision a bold future that strengthens UVU’s Vision 2030 and expands our impact on future educators, Utah’s schools and communities, and beyond.
