The International Baccalaureate (IB) Diploma Program is a globally recognized academic curriculum designed to prepare high school students for success at the university level. Students who complete IB courses and earn qualifying scores on IB exams may be eligible to receive college credit at Utah Valley University. Credit may be awarded for individual Standard Level (SL) and Higher Level (HL) exams with a score of 4 or higher.
To have your IB exam scores evaluated for credit at UVU, you must request that your official IB transcript be sent directly to the UVU Registrar’s Office on the International Baccalaureate website.
IB scores do not expire, but timely submission is encouraged to ensure credit is applied before registration or graduation deadlines. Transcripts must be sent directly from the IB organization to be considered official.
