How to Transfer Credits to UVU | Utah Valley University

The UVU Transfer Guide is a course equivalency guide that lets you review how your courses and credits transfer to UVU from other higher education institutions.

These courses have already been evaluated by UVU. If a course isn’t listed, that is an indication that it simply hasn’t been received and evaluated yet, not that the course isn’t accepted by UVU.

UVU Equivalent Courses are subject to change without prior notice. Transfer credits will be awarded based on the equivalent in effect at the time UVU receives and evaluates the official transcript.

How to Use the Transfer Guide

Courses from the transfer institution are displayed on the left with UVU equivalents on the right. Use the One-to-One and Multiple Transfer Courses tables to determine how equivalencies are transferred. Credit will be awarded for courses completed with D- grades or higher.

Tips

Select your institution from the dropdown menu. Find it quickly by typing the name in the “school filter” field. Then, select the dropdown to view a shortened list of schools to choose from.
You can search for the transfer course, UVU course, or by keywords when searching for your course.
For Multiple Transfer Courses, all courses at the transfer institution must be completed with a D- or higher to receive the equivalency listed.
