The UFRA Straight Tip magazine is sent to fire departments across the state of Utah. This quarterly magazine features messages from nationally known experts, firefighters from Utah and across the country, and UVU staff and faculty. Straight Tip provides news and technical information that are both timely and essential to the increasing professionalism of emergency services in Utah. Starting with the fall 2023 issue, the magazine will be sent in print format to fire chiefs and fire stations in Utah and electronically to individual firefighters who have subscribed.
