Remember to "Fall Back" for Daylight Savings Time on Sunday. (Set your clocks one hour earlier before going to bed on Saturday.)

Full-Time staff need to use leave by December 23
Full-time employees will lose all personal leave and any vacation hours over 240 on December 31. There are 3 paid holidays in November for Thanksgiving and 6 paid holidays in December for Christmas/New Year's, so be sure to figure that into your time off--plus the leave you will be accruing in the next few paychecks before the end of 2021.
Part-time staff can make up holiday hours
Part-time staff may work more hours before and/or after holidays with supervisor approval as long as the Payroll time policies are followed (not more than 39 hours per week AND less than 120 hours in November and 112 hours in December).

The Sorensen Student Center is undergoing the first phase of its rebuild. The food court, UVU Campus Store, UVU Utah Community Credit Union, and Center for Social Impact will remain open during construction. See UVU's Pardon Our Dust site or the map of construction around the SC building.

IR Student Research Assistant position opening
We are looking to hire a student research assistant in IR. This position will be a combination of Amy and Becca's previous positions (reasearch assistant + help with social media). Spread the word if you know anyone who would like to apply. The link to the UV Job Board posting is here.
Utah Banner Users Group (UBUG)
The Utah Banner Users Group (UBUG) Conference will be hosted at Utah State University on May 13, 2022, in the Eccles Conference Center. The event will be in-person, on campus. Presentation proposals for the different tracks are being gathered by track chairs and the details of the conference agenda should be finalized soon. After presentations, keynotes, and sponsorship are finalized, the details will be published on the conference web site and registration will be opened (hopefully early in January). Talk to your supervisor if you are interested in attending and/or presenting.
