Established to support the growing demand for cybersecurity professionals, the UVU Center for Cybersecurity serves as a central hub for all cybersecurity programs, resources, and activities at Utah Valley University. The center brings together students, faculty, and industry partners to advance knowledge and skills in areas such as secure computing, cyber defense, and emerging technologies. Through hands-on learning, industry-aligned coursework, and collaborative opportunities, the center prepares students to protect digital systems, solve real-world security challenges, and lead in a rapidly evolving field.

Gain in-depth cybersecurity knowledge and advanced defensive and offensive technical skills that are necessary for administering and maintaining secure information systems, identifying vulnerabilities, defeating cyber threats, and managing the risk associated with operating these systems.

Utah Valley University’s (UVU) Master of Science in Cybersecurity (MSC) program has received Program of Study (POS) validation from the National Security Agency (NSA) and the National Centers of Academic Excellence in Cybersecurity (NCAE-C), officially recognizing UVU’s graduate cybersecurity program as meeting national standards for excellence in cyber defense education.
