The School of Education continues to operate under modified conditions.


The administrative offices, including the advising office, are open daily during business hours, with reduced on-campus staff availability.

  • Complete online orientation and Jumpstart
  • Meet with your first-year academic advisor
  • Make sure this is the major for you - Take Introduction to Education: EDEL 1010
  • Begin your Math and English sequence - Take MATH 2000 and ENGL 1010

Meet with Advisor

You will need to submit your application to the teacher education program during your second year of school. Students will not be accepted into a teacher education program until they have fulfilled all admission requirements.

Students are generally accepted into the teacher education program during their third year of school. You will receive your admission decision two weeks after you apply for the program.
