2022-2023 Graduation Ceremonies

We celebrate our students' hard work and dedication to success with our graduation ceremonies that are held once a year at the end of the Spring term. The Spring 2023 commencement and convocations will be held the week of May 4, 2023. More details will be announced in Spring semester, when it is a little closer to the ceremonies. 

Graduates Must Register to Attend:

Graduates will find the registration for the ceremonies within the graduation application that must submit to recive their degree. If graduates would like to change their ceremony registration status after their application has been approved they must reach out to the graduation office at graduation@uvu.edu or through their submitted graduation application. 


Public Ceremony Information

  • All UVU graduates participate together in this ceremony.
  • No tickets are required.
  • President Astrid S. Tuminez,  the keynote speaker and others will address all graduates and guests.
  • During this ceremony, all the graduates will stand as a group and then be congratulated and instructed to move their tassels from the right to the left side of their caps.

  • Each graduate will be recognized in this ceremony.
  • No tickets are required.
  • Follow the links bellow to see what time and place your school/college will hold their convocation.
  • Each graduate's name will be announced as the graduate walks across the green carpet to receive their UVU diploma cover.
  • Guest and family may take pictures, cheer and celebrate with their graduate.

Parking on Campus

Guests and graduates will be able to park in any legal parking space on campus for free on the day of Commencement and the day of Convocation. Any cars parked illegally will be ticketed.
