4Attend Commencement

UVU celebrates graduation with college-specific commencement ceremonies.

College or School Commencement

• Features speakers, the formal conferral of degrees, and the graduates' processional.
• A more personal ceremony hosted by your college or school.
• Graduates’ names are read as they cross the stage.
• Family and friends can celebrate with you in a more intimate setting.

Tips for Participation:

• Indicate your intent to attend when you submit your graduation application.
• Arrive early in full regalia to line up with your classmates for the processional.
• Review parking, guest entry, and accessibility details in advance.
• Both events are optional, but most graduates choose to attend one or both to celebrate their achievements.
