There will be security checks at the commencement ceremony, so we urge guests to plan for a little extra time to make it through these checkpoints.
The UCCU Center has an EMT on location for all major events. The EMT is not allowed to administer any medication (i.e., aspirin, ibuprofen). EMTs will call an ambulance if the situation requires one. If you need an EMT during an event, please speak to a staff member, and they will locate them.
Emergency Evacuations: In an emergency, the UCCU Center staff will assist patrons with evacuating the building.
UVU encourages the attendance of family, friends, and other loved ones who want to see their Wolverine graduate! Watch the dress code video to get familiar with UVU’s graduation guest code of conduct.
Because this unique experience is one of the core memories you’ll have of your UVU graduation, we ask that you wear more formal attire like suits, dresses, skirts, and slacks under your graduation gown. We love to see our Wolverines looking and feeling their best!
Please avoid clothing that could potentially distract other guests or diminish the ability of other guests to enjoy the event.

Note: Utah Valley University and the UCCU Center reserve the right to inspect all items brought into campus facilities. Guests who refuse to consent to searches will be denied entry into the arena or other parts of campus.
Be sure to wear your cap and gown and other approved regalia!
Bring yourselves and your Wolverine spirit to cheer on your grad!
