Three pronged mission of Workforce Alignment

The Workforce Alignment team helps connect every aspect of credit and non-credit programming at UVU to regional and state workforce needs. We work with departments and programs across campus to build and support educational pathways and workforce-aligned programming so that UVU graduates are prepared to make a difference in their communities.

Summer Faculty Institute

All full-time faculty are invited to apply for the 2025 UVU Faculty Summer Institute, held in early May. This year’s focus is on enhancing students’ workforce readiness through strategic use of credit for prior learning, embedded credentialing, project-based learning and industry partnerships, and development of CEUs (Continuing Education Units).
