You can access the final exam resources on the OTL homepage beginning April 10th.

Editing a PDF
(for Students and Faculty)

Instructors – while Word Docs and Google Docs are the easiest file formats for students to edit, sometimes there are times you may need to give your students a PDF to edit and resubmit. In those cases, share the instructions below on editing PDFs.  Showing your students how to edit and resubmit documents without printing can reduce paper usage and help save the environment.

  1. Use Adobe Acrobat DC to edit the PDF. Access to this software comes from the UVU Creative Cloud, available to every UVU faculty and student. Also consider checking out the iOS and Android Acrobat Reader apps which have PDF editing options for tablets and phones.
  2. Depending on the PDF, Microsoft Word might serve your purpose for editing.
  3. If you are using a Mac, you can use Preview to edit a PDF.
  4. There are many other third-party PDF editors which allow you to edit and download your PDFs – but be sure to review the terms and conditions and use these software at your own risk.
