Thank you for participating in the annual website audit. With everyone’s help, we can keep the UVU website accurate, up-to-date, and effective.
The UVU website undergoes an audit every 12 months. The audit is coordinated by the Strategic Web Action Team (SWAT). Each campus division's web steward oversees the web audit for their division, with support from DEAT and UMC.
During the audit, departments across campus review their websites to confirm that they function properly, contain accurate information, are optimized for performance, and in compliance with security and accessibility best practices and requirements.
The tasks that are to be completed for each site are listed under the "Audit Checklist" section of this page.
Training opportunities are listed under the "Support and Training" section of this page.
In 2025 the audit will begin on May 5 and complete on June 13.
The web audit is coordinated by SWAT, which includes representation from each area of campus. Assigned site owners, site managers, and content contributors for each site on uvu.edu work on auditing the pages and files in their sites. Departments can decide who among their site owner, site manager, and content contributors will be responsible for audit tasks.
DEAT and UMC provide instruction, training and support on how to complete the tasks in the audit.
If you are not sure who should participate in the audit for your site, Web Stewards:In April 2026 new regulations for Title II of the Americans with Disabilities Act will require that UVU's web content and mobile apps be compliant with Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 AA standards. In order to prepare for this, the 2025 web audit includes tasks related to meeting those requirements for all web pages and digital documents that are published on uvu.edu.
Thank you for helping in this important effort to make sure our content is available to all users.
The tasks listed on this page should be completed for each page/file within your department site. If you are not sure how to complete these tasks, please review the tutorials on the Web Community Resources site, sign up for a training session, or reach out to your area web developer with questions. For complex fixes, you can submit a web request through Service Center.

After your site audit has been completed, please submit a site audit complete form. If you are responsible for more than one site, please submit a separate form for each. These submissions will be sent to your Web Steward to assist in their tracking of divisional audit completion.
After all the sites in your area have been audited, please submit a division audit complete form.
